Chapter 9

²⁴Seventy weeks jubilees✦ are determined upon Your people2 and upon Your holy city3, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to atone for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the Most Holy Place4.

²⁵Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the command to restore destroy and to rebuild Jerusalem✦ until Messiah the Prince will be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks sixty-nine jubilees2: the street will be built again and the wall but in troublous times3.

²⁶And after threescore and two weeks sixty-two jubilees✦ Messiah Judah2 will be cut off and have nothing: and the people of the prince3 shall destroy the city and the sanctuary them but the end thereof his end will come speedily like a flood. Until the end of the war4, desolations are decreed.

²⁷And he He shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the middle of the week, he He will cause the sacrifice and offerings to cease✦, and for the overspreading of abominations, he He shall make it Jerusalem desolate until the decree is poured upon the desolate Israel.
